Hockey

Hockey is my third choice. I love to watch hockey, but i've never played it before. I know how most of the game works, but i think it would be interesting to learn why its played, and where it started. I'm not sure what questions i could ask to sum up the whole idea of learnign why hockey is played and where it started.

Bungee Jumping

Bungee jumping is my second choice. I am interested in writing about it because i have never done it and i think it would be interesting to learna about. I know very little about it, except that you have to be very much secured in a harness and you use a bungee cord. Some questions that i might use would be, How does bungee jumping work, and why is bungee jumping so thrilling. I will definitely need to learn more about it, but i don't know if i will be able to get that interested in it.

Pottery and Ceramics

Pottery and Ceramics is my first choice for this research paper. I want to write about pottery because its interesting and creative. I know some about pottery and ceramics, like how it is made and some of the tools you use to make it. I would like to learn, though, why it is made, what it can be used for and where it originated. Some questions that i may use would be, how is pottery made, where did pottery and ceramics originate, what is it used for. I really need to think of a question that sums all my ideas into one. I love to do ceramics and pottery, and i really want to use it as my research topic.

Research Experience

In english 101, with Dr. Hunter, we had to research a litte. We did papers on politics and taking a stand. We could either site the reference, or say "according to" and whatever it was. We had to use MLA format, but he wasn't crucial about it being exactly correct. I am a little nervous about this class because i have never written a research paper this big, and i'm not exactly good at deciding what to write about. Oh well, i'm sure as long as i keep up and do what i'm supposed to i'll be fine.
